I’m off next Wednesday to Budapest for the eDemocracy Symposium. Apparently there is a good turnout expected with over 300 delegates booked. I doubt they will all turn up to hear me speak about using new technology to reach out to new young people but as I’m sharing the platform with Kate Parrish from UK Youth Parliament, Laura McVeigh of UK Youth and Tom Gaskin of NorfolkBlurb, there might be a few.
In fact judging by the number of people going that I need to meet up with, including Tim and Tom from Norfolk, it’s probably cheaper and far quicker to fly to Budapest than take the train across the UK.
